Who we are
Priority Locksmiths is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: privacy@prioritylocksmiths.co.uk.
What we collect
When you request a locksmith: your name, contact details, the property postcode and address, a description of the problem, and any photos you upload. We also record technical data (IP address, pages visited, traffic source) and call data where tracking numbers are used.
Why we process it (lawful bases)
- To deliver the service you asked for (contract): matching your request with locksmith partners and sharing the necessary details with the partner who accepts it.
- Service messages (contract/legitimate interest): confirmations, status updates and review requests about your specific request.
- Marketing (consent): only if you tick the separate marketing consent box. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Safety, fraud prevention and records (legitimate interest/legal obligation).
Who we share it with
The locksmith partner who accepts your request receives the details needed to do the job. Before acceptance, partners see only a summary (service, urgency, postcode district) — not your name, address or phone number. We also use service providers for hosting, email, SMS and payments under contract.
How long we keep it
Lead and customer records are retained for 24 months from your last request, then anonymised. Call recordings, where enabled and notified, are kept no longer than 6 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data, and object to or restrict processing. Email privacy@prioritylocksmiths.co.uk. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with our response.
